Lord Austin receives Youth Sportsmanship Award!

Austin has been very busy taking care of his rabbits and promoting the rabbit industry! Since PaSRBA convention, he attended the Paw Prints ARBA Show in New Jersey and the Apple Country show on April 13th. For the Apple Country show, he provided drinks for the judges. He proudly wears his royalty sash and hat at the shows.

On March 5, 2019, he participated in Shrove Tuesday Youth Pancake Supper with a Dwarf Papillon. On March 30, 2019, Austin attended the Regal Rabbits 4-H Rabbit and Cavy Workshop. He represented PaSRBA royalty and assisted with presentations. He also attended the Fuzzy Critters and Carrot Crunchers 4-H Rabbit and Cavy Clubs meetings and spoke about PaSRBA Royalty, the English Spot and Dwarf Papillon breeds.

Austin has also been keeping the nest boxes full with 5 litters of English Spots since February and three more does due next week. He recently gave a breeding pair of Chocolate Spots and club memberships (National and local breed club) to his friend to increase the number of Youth Spot breeders.

His biggest adventure recently was attending the English Spot National in Franklin, Indiana on April 27, 2019. He showed seven English Spots and won Best of Variety Lilac and Best Lilac Junior. Austin was honored to receive the Youth Sportsmanship Award and this was the first time this award was given. The recipient was decided by the youth exhibitors and a committee of open breeders!
